Just a short update! The books are printed and awaiting shipping. We're setting up customs brokerage to bring them in with hopefully minimal fuss. After the issues we had with the Rio shipment I'd like to avoid a repeat of that. It'll be a while due to the time involved in overseas shipping, but once they're in, we'll be going over any needed corrections and shipping out the next rounds of rewards!
Also, Miu would like to share another Talent Show preview image since he's wrapping up the art on the project...revealing a surprise party-crasher in the mix! He'd been keeping this a secret (which also stalled some of his ability to share art, since she's in quite a number of the pages) but now that things are closer to done we're letting the... girl out of the bag!

Hello everyone,
Hope the holiday season has been treating you well. Back finally with new news to report! The upgraded edition of Super Delicious #1 and #2 is finished printing and we were sent sample copies of the final printed book. I have to say, I've been doing books with Miu for over ten years at this point and I am soundly impressed with the printing quality on the new books.*

Hi folks,
I know I updated just a short while ago so sorry to spam with another so soon, but my main computer unfortunately suffered a really bad breakdown and I'm waiting for parts to arrive. Keeping fingers crossed I can get it fixed...it's down, but not out yet! Trying to get this backup laptop-tablet set up to access all the stuff I need to keep working in the meantime. :( E-mail responses are going to be slow while I piece things together again.
From what I have heard, Talent Show's mini-comic is progressing along so hoping to get some more previews I can share here soon.
Also a note for those who seem confused, I am not Miu, and although Miu has access here I (Midori) am generally the one doing the updating on the Indiegogo. The clubstripes@gmail account is also mainly me. If you talk to Miu on his twitter or tumblr or anywhere else, and then try to send mail to the clubstripes@gmail address, it is not the same people running these things so...it will probably get a little confusing for all involved. Hope this helps a bit!

Proofs arrived!
For those of you who are following Miu's Twitter you may have seen him posting photos of the proofs for the new version of the books last week. If you haven't, well, they're now here at my place (of course he wanted to see them first, haha).
Feels like it's almost real now, after so many delays. Of course, as with any first time running a printing run, there's some adjustments needed before these things can go off to press. Waiting on confirmation from the printer for a few questions we had but the colors are looking great and I can't wait to get the final versions out there for everyone!
On the subject of other delayed things, after a long bout of being sick on and off again, Miu has reported finally getting to put some time in on Talent Show again. Keeping fingers crossed we'll have that ready to go by December, but he's been having a lot of health and pain issues this summer/fall so I hope everyone can wish him well.
On my own end, there's been a bit of a communication snag between Fulfillrite and Backerkit, I don't fully understand what's going on but it seems to be affecting a lot of international orders and also some domestic. Working on ironing out the issues while trying to get everything else pushed through. Also, if you previously had a problem with the digital downloads, I reactivated the old codes again for another year, so the PDF you received should now have valid info again (ignore the expiration date). If you never received your PDFs from Backerkit please e-mail [email protected] (Subject: Download PDFs) so I can send you the instructions for redeeming your downloads.
Lastly, I have a few packages that got returned due to not being picked up at Customs. Unfortunately we don't really have the budget to ship these a second time right now, as international postage is quite pricey and the remaining funds from the IGG fundraiser are being retained for the balance due on the book shipment and freight for those packages. If you got a shipping notice but no shipment and think this may be you, please e-mail me at [email protected] with the subject line "Missed Package" and let's see what we can do to get your things to you.

PLEASE IGNORE THE "Reply directly to this email to respond to the campaign owner, Club Stripes" part of the e-mail updates! Indiegogo puts that footer on automatically and I just discovered a PILE of messages in my spam filter from people replying to the update e-mail instead of following instructions and sending an e-mail directly to [email protected] with the header I request! Replying to the updates and/or leaving comments on the project page do not help me help you get your things as it all shunts into the spam can and odds are I WILL NOT SEE IT promptly.
Not following directions means clogging the tubes for me, you, and everyone else. Please help me help you! If there's an issue please hit Compose, not Reply!
