Before I get to things, if you don't want or need to see these updates, just hit unsubscribe near the bottom of the email! I've had some people ask about opting out of emails and that's how ya do it! I can't remove anyone from the campaign for the updates since there's no tool on IGG to do that.
Now, on to things!
The new proof is here and everything looks good! The photo isn't really color accurate since I didn't adjust it, just to be clear. I just wanted to share a quick snap of the physical proof pages existing.
I'll be signing off on it and getting a schedule for turn around from the printer hopefully pretty quickly. I'll have another update once I know when I'll be getting the boxes of books in the mail!
So that's about it for now, we're off to print!

So the proof came in today, but I think the colors need to be dialed in a bit better before its ready to approve it for print.
Already talked with the printer via email today and listened to their suggestions, so going to go back and redo the pages for print again and send it off, hopefully tonight! More than likely if I get it off tonight the next proof will come in around next monday.
I think it's worth doing to make the book look better, so just gonna pay for the extra proof and get things moving.
I'll post again as soon as I have more info or a shipping date for the next proof! Pretty sure I can nail the colors the second time around now that I have an example of how its coming out of the printers machines.

Hi again everyone!
It took a little bit (always does converting something to print) but I turned in the files for Talent Show to the printer and have heard back.
I should be getting the proof (a set of prints that show exactly what the book will print like) in the mail roughly around the 12th of July. So not too long from now!
If the colors and printing look good I'll be able to sign off on it and get a schedule from the printer on when the books should arrive. Everything is already paid up, so this is some of the last steps to getting the physical books here for shipping.
As soon as I get the print I'll post another update. If its good I'll sign off on it, if its bad welp, time to redo everything for print again and fix the errors and get it right back over to the printer to get the ball rolling again.
So hope to see you all again with a nice looking proof not too far from now!

Hi everyone, first off, thank you again for your endless patience with me on this project. It means a lot and I'm so happy to finally be sending this out to everyone.
Second, since most folks who wanted to change their emails and addresses have written in, figured it was time to just go ahead and hit that send button. So all of you who backed for the digital version should have an email waiting for you that will let you claim your download!
Now for a bit about the project:
Talent Show's comic, Frenemies with Benefits, was designed even way back to kinda be the flip-side-of-the-coin to my Milk & Cookies Your Biggest Fan story. It's gone through some changes due to continuity in Ask Jam, but it's pretty dang close to what it was even back then.
Whereas Your Biggest Fan was sexy and dramatic with some silly rolled in, Frenemies with Benefits is just straight silly sexy shenanigans, which I suppose is exactly what Raspberry and Jam deserve. < X D
So yeah, its there ready for you all! Please go grab your download and enjoy!

Good news everyone! It's finally here!
Jam’s Talent Show has been completed! All 28 pages (10 talent pinups + comic "Frenemies with Benefits") has been fully drawn, colored, lettered, & lovingly caressed.
Now the next step: Getting it out to all of you! The timeframe will be slightly different for digital and physical versions.
First up: digital!
We are going to release the digital version on June 27th via email. All backers that selected a digital version will receive a pdf + png set in their email that day.
We decided on the 27th to give everyone a week to get their email & shipping address info updated if needed before we start sending everything out.
(If you don't see this right away, we'll still be able to help you out after that week has passed!)
If you need to change your email address or your mailing address(for the physical edition which is currently in the works), we can help you out!
Just follow these instructions:
email Miupix at: [email protected]
1. in the email include:
your name
the email you backed with
(this will let us find your pledge)
2. then include the new email you'd like to change to AND/OR new mailing address
(Please make sure you have access to that email & that it can accept a pdf file)
Once received, we will then make sure your info has been updated in Backerkit and you'll be all set!
And if you don't need to change anything, great! You're also already set!
Second: the physical edition!
We are currently readying the files for print and will update everyone as it moves through the pipeline. We should have the book off to our printer in early July and will have an estimate for the turn around time once we hear back from the printer.
